| A customer's recent
adventure trip to the Antarticas netted this beautiful
photo of an iceberg floating about 400-500 meters away.
What better way to preserve memories than to take photos
and have them framed. For this piece, I selected a
standard double mat to give the photo some space between
the glazing material. We need this space at all times,
the last thing we want is a photo sticking to the inside
surface of the glass which is often destructive to the
photo. Regal Blue was chosen for the bottom mat which
blends well to the bluish highlights of the iceberg.
Brilliant white was chosen for the top matboard to
complement the color of ice. You might notice that the
mats are bottom weighted, meaning the bottom margin is
wider than all the sides, this creates a sense of
balance and proportion to the piece. A simple
medium matte black frame completes the design. |
