This is a classic example of framing original pastel artwork. Simply double mounted and bottom-weighted to give the sense of proportion to the piece. The rustic dark gray moulding has accents of gold, which actually highlights this subject's gold blond hair. Non-glare glass was utilised to give the item a non-polished look at times looking like an oil painting rather than pastel.
