Framing postage stamps |
| This is a decorative
framing of mint condition 2006 release of "Dangerous
Australians" stamps from Australia Post. This edition is
available in a 6-stamp set depicting six deadly
Australian native animals. Each of the stamps were
mounted on a 4-ply conservation matboard but this was
cut with a reverse bevel to get the floating effect.
Some depth was required so a double mat was employed to
supply this. Charcoal shade was used as the background,
Almond for the top and Regal Blue as the accent. Framing
postage stamps is also one of the specialties of Orlando
Frames. |
