Tropical Island Shells |
| A customer came in
bringing delicate shells from a recent tropical island
holiday. "Is there something that can be done to display
these?", she asks. Well, there is of course. The best
way to display shells is to use a shadowbox and frame it
similar to framing any other object. In this instance, a
cove shadowbox was constructed to house the 4 shells.
Very careful handling was required as these shells were
particularly fragile with their comb-like spikes. The
shells were then mounted to look as though they were
floating over the mat. |
